Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant's skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position._ Business Info Developer Sr: Responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Uses program languages to extract data. Develops and executes data mining analyses. Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information. Programs and writes queries and reports. Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues. Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables. Conducts training on use of applications developed. Business Info Developer Consultant: Responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Performs modeling of information sources and flows. Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions. May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects. Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse. Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues. Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables. Conducts training on use of applications developed. Qualifications Requires BS/BA degree or Management Science and Information technology. 2-6 years of related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Technical experience: MS SQL server, Access, Oracle, Teradata SQL Assistant, Hadoop experience is required. 4-5 years of solid hands-on experience in creating and automating SSRS reports in SQL Server is strongly desired Considerable knowledge in the conversion of MS Access to SSRS reports strongly preferred Understanding of PEGA system is preferred Programming: Java/Java Script, SAS, .Net experience preferred. Proficient in all Microsoft office products in particular MS Access, MS Excel is required. Working knowledge and experience with Big Data Hadoop, Impala, Hive is required. Solid working knowledge and experience with EDWARD and ODW database is preferred (tables, views). Good understanding of analyzing the business concepts requirements and develop the Pre-pay and Post-pay complex SQL queries in Hadoop or Oracle or SQL server database. Ability to perform QAQC of SQL scripts, queries and functional user acceptance testing (UAT). Ability to develop and execute complex data mining queries for statistical analyses and identification of trends based on captured data. Ability to analyze claims data, provider data and manipulate large sets of data for trending identification. Prior experience gathering requirements from business units and translating into IT technology a plus Detailed-oriented with ability to multi-task required Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required Experience in creating dashboards reports based on captured data and in developing new ad-hoc client reports Knowledge and experience in Agile, SAFe or SCRUM modules a plus. Preferred experience with JIRA, confluence knowledge, process set up, management, etc. Experience with SharePoint 2013,Visio workflows, process/form set up, administration is preferred. Healthcare background in Govt. Business/Commercial Specialty Business lines of business is very helpful. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and Programming/query languages is also required.
