Human Resource Manager

5+ years experience of HR coordinator/managerexperience within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Must be fully Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English). BS degree and HR certifications are highly desirable.

Job Summary:

Manage complex and difficult HR processes

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.

Interact with employees during the hiring phase recruit/screen potential candidates, provide info on benefits, policies and PTO

Perform employee orientations when hired

Develop and deliver training programs that support the growth of the organization.

Train supervisors/managers on handling employee related issues

Provide guidance to managers and team members on coaching, mentoring, training and development, rewards and recognition, and performance management.

Keep handbook up to date and in compliance as it relates to legal standards and labor laws

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.

Coach/counsel employees as it relates to issues and make sure we adhere to company policy

Handle benefits such as health insurance, 401K, paid time off

Tracking of all COBRA, FMLA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, Workers Compensation Claims and OSHA Reporting

Manage time clocks and process payroll via Paychex

Maintain employee records

Conduct exit interviews with employees separating from service

Assist in monitoring employee performance/ review program

Process and maintain all documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and classifications, and incident reports

Additional HR projects as assigned and General administrative work in the office Qualifications:

Requirements:

Bachelor in human resources or PHR or related field is preferred.

Experience with HRIS Bilingual English/Spanish is required

5+ years experience of coordinator/generalist experience HR within a fast paced manufacturing environment

Knowledgeable of employment laws and other government compliance regulations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

Strong interpersonal skills.

Bring innovative ideas on HR functions and processes

Computer skills: experience in Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, databases)
