The Global Network Operations Security Center (GNOSC) Watch Officer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract .The candidate will:
Be responsible for all facets of a continuous 24/7 Global Network Operations Center.
Execute network, system, and cloud systems monitoring/surveillance, environmental monitoring, incident management and MDA Cybersecurity.
Support and service maintenance activities to include Change Management coordination during the assigned shift day/time.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Coordinate with the Incident Manager, GNOSC Senior Watch Officer and other leadership to meet service levels defined for the IT Services organization.
Execute the job roles/responsibilities which includes working 12hr shifts that alternate quarterly.
Provide guidance and lead troubleshooting in dynamic, time constrained scenarios to matrix staff, including network, systems, and application engineers, in a geographically distributed enterprise.
This position requires shift-work and is located at Schriever AFB, CO.

Qualifications Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the followingcombinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years ofgeneral experience; or an Associate s degree and 10 years of generalexperience; or a Bachelor s degree and 8 years of general experience; or aMaster s degree and 6 years of general experience.
Must have 6 years directlyrelated experience in IT Operations.
Active DoD Secret SecurityClearance.
Possess excellent communicationskills, verbal and written, at both technical and senior/Executive managementlevels, as well as experience in metrics-based IT Operations and Maintenance(O&M) teams.
Experience with Remedy and SNMPmonitoring tools (e.g., Micro focus/HPOV). Must have education or experiencewith ITIL framework and ITIL-based processes, to include continual serviceimprovement, change management, and problem investigation.
Previous work experience as aWindows/Linux System Administrator supporting a large Enterprise with knowledgeof Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2008/2012, Linux/UNIX Operating Systems,EMC Storage, Symantec Netbackup and SCCM Patch Management solutions. Previouswork experience as a network engineer, including hands-on experience designing,implementing and managing network components including switches, routers,firewalls, and cryptographic devices.
Previous cyber-defense orinformation assurance experience, including experience with DISA mandatedsecurity tools to include Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), HostBased Security System (HBSS), analyze results and create reports.
Previous Network Operationsexperience in a network operations center or other 24x7x365 IT Operations environment.
