Its affiliates offer deep expertise across a comprehensive range of traditional and alternative investments through a wide array of vehicles and customized strategies. consolidated financial statements and various regulatory reports Identifies and implements opportunities to automate and accelerate the reporting process Analyzes financial results and prepares reporting for Executive Management and the Audit Committee Coordinates annual audits of multiple entities/subsidiaries Responds to inquiries and act as key contact for internal/external auditors Works collaboratively with peers to manage resources, enhance work processes, and improve overall service delivered to internal and external client groups Assesses performance, provides feedback, and develops team members to deliver superior business results Analyzes accounting and reporting impacts of US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC changes Leads special projects involving new business issues Works collaboratively with peers to manage resources, enhance work processes and ensure accuracy QUALIFICATIONS: Required: CPA 10 + years of combined public or corporate accounting/reporting experience Public Accounting experience Preferred: B.S. or B.A. in accounting strongly preferred MBA Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS experience a plus) Successful management experience in accounting, operations and audit procedures Must be highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, have a positive work ethic and be comfortable working in a fast paced, demanding environment Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work as an effective team player and ability to collaborate across functions and businesses Detailed knowledge of COSO and internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) Prior financial services experience at the manager/director level a plus Experience with financial accounting systems (PeopleSoft experience a plus) Preference for experience which required strong interpersonal skills and which included a record of contributions and achievements that reflect sound judgment, business knowledge, and leadership capabilities Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and leverage networks of professional contacts Ability to manage multiple competing priorities A commitment to a culture of excellence and client service A sense of urgency, results orientation and thoughtful execution skills Public Accounting at Big 4 or large regional firm Outstanding communication skills and a diplomatic interpersonal manner If you need assistance applying due to being visually or hearing impaired, please email Careers Help.
